The Apprentices did Well!

A very, very busy day today but made all the pleasanter by the balmy, sunny weather. Long may it continue!

2 items of significance to report on:-

Ron Brislin is away fro 2 weeks, but his "Apprentices" Ray Steve and Peter managed to complete over 2 courses of the wall, the second half of which is now ready for the corbelling. Brilliant!

Secondly the tree line on the North West embankment has been dramatically chopped back to give greater visibility to the Northern  Bridge, which marks our boundary. Cheers Andy P!

It was good to visit you today after watching progress on the blog for the last few months. The boys both said how interesting it was, and want to come back again when we next visit the railway.

Keep up the good work and thanks for giving us such a warm welcome.
