In more than 3 years volunteering at Broadway you could count on the fingers of one hand the number of day lost through bad weather - I'm afraid this is one of them. There wasn't a job that was urgent enough to risk the poor road conditions, and the snow and ice on site. Lets hope Spring is around the corner!

Although Bill you must admit Broadway Stn looks good even in the snow, that doesn't make up for the loss of production
The photo would make a good Christmas card, especially with the red telephone box in the scene.
Yes, we could even pretend there's track down there beneath the snow ....if only!
No loss of production in P/Way - the only working department on the railway today.
A little sprinkling of snow and everything grinds to a halt, what the hell is wrong with this railway*/country*/world*?

Road conditions today were more than acceptable!
Well done PW, hope you were working your way to us at Broadway.
In the other direction I'm afraid - the winter relaying job at JJ Farms bridge.
P-way dept made of stern stuff, sorts the men out from the boys
Why are there so many anonymous posts on this blog? You aren't being offensive or controversial, so what are you all afraid of?
SMERSH say it has to be so.... shalom
Enough is enough on this thread I think. Lets move on.
