Away for the weekend but my trusty Reporter on the Scene file this report:-
The construction team finished the pipe work across the track bed - all now ok and encased in pipes. Took us a while to get it right but very satisfactory when finished - just needs a bit more ballast to go in the hole to finish the job off. Ray, Steve and I then set about doing more corbelling - Ray settling a hot pace up front with Steve and I doing the red bricks behind. We reckon we will finish the present length of platform next Saturday! John S did sterling work barrowing red bricks to the rear of the wall for us to use.
John S and John B together with Keith spent time a Childswickham road checking on the drainage etc.
Lovely weather at headquarters today - first time for ages we were without coats.
