News about our intrepid sponsored walkers!

Ray OHara and Tina have finally arrived at Toddington, at the end of their long sponsored walk along the Cotswolds way. What an achievement! Not only have they walked up hill and down dale all the way along the Cotswolds hills from Bath Green Park station to Chipping Campden, but from there they walked back down to Broadway, and then home all the way to Toddington. All this in aid of - Broadway station! How nice is that? The purpose was to raise £1000 for the Broadway station rebuild by means of this 'My Donate' sponsorship link:

https://mydonate.bt.com/fundraisers/gwsrcotswoldway2014

They are about 3/4 of the way there, having raised around £750 so far. If you think this is brilliant, why not make their day and help achieve their target? Click on the above link if you would like to help.

Thank you very much Ray, Tina and all your sponsors !

The Broadway team :-)

I was wondering why there had been a flurry of sponsors all of a sudden, now I know. Many thanks indeed for the extra publicity. Many thanks too, to all the sponsors who have so generously supported Tina and myself on this walk. Most of all, a very big thank you to all the members of the Broadway Area Group who have put so much hard work into resurrecting Broadway station. I can't tell you how much I'm looking forward to seeing the first train in the preservation era pull into Broadway station.

Once again, many thanks indeed

Hi Ray,
Great to get this bit of feedback about the sponsorship. A couple of times I've put up encouragements to, say, buy shares, but of course I never find out if they had any effect.
So great to hear that this time, it did.
Thank you, sponsors !

And thank you Ray for such a long walk. I walk up to Dovers Hill from time to time, so know what an effort it is. Well done !
