Hey, that is good progress! I was looking at some past photos of the line recently looking for pictures of Weston sub edge station, and there's some great photos of broadway station too. When the platforms are completed, will you be looking to complete the station before any track goes down? I was thinking a couple of panels with a nice coach on in platform 1 might be good for PR n also provide a mess coach :)
We are always interested in pictures of Broadway station including its demolition. Those that we know are the half dozen or so that figure in the 2 - 3 books about the line. In fact there are not that many around, so if anyone has somne additional ideas, or previously unpublished photographs, we would be interersted to see them.
Which books have you seen pictures in ? I have a couple of photos of Broadway station that were 'poached' from the web. Think they have copyright on though

There is one on the web of a 28xx through Broadway while it is being demolished, but I've not been able to contact the author.
Re. putting in track and carriages etc., there is the problem of security and insurance until such time as we make the site secure. Platform 1A is complete and could be made operational for short trains as soon as track reaches Broadway. However, current plans require completion of the whole station complex before running any trains.
Perhaps a similar approach to the cafe carriage on the Honeybourne to Stratford 'Greenway' might help to increase visitor numbers and have a permamant mess coach for the volunteers too! A couple of track panels would suffice in the short term for the carriage to sit on - like Swindon and Cricklade Railway....!

I agree about laying track. The sooner you've got a gap in the track, the sooner the permanent way boys will eliminate it and start running trains :)

Its when I see a photo from 10 (ish) years ago I realise how much the Broadway team have achieved in a repetitively short period of time
