Frequent heavy showers prevented very much being done today. Nevertheless further excavation of the Building on Platform 2 revealed some modest treasures. At the top of the list Steve found the cast iron finial for one of the side screen posts. If its partner can be found then they will be refurbished and used - if not this one can be used as model to manufacture some new ones. It was strangely exciting to go back to the cabin and look at old photos where the posts and finials can be clearly seen!
