|The first Broadway Supporter Share Purchase!|
The share offer is an attractive one. The shares purchased will qualify under the HMRC Enterprise Investment Scheme and will be subject to 30% income tax relief for tax payers. In addition a tiered concession scheme applies and starts with 3 free round trips per annum for those purchasing between 100-500 shares. Incidentally 100 Offer Shares are the minimum purchase.
|Cheer up Roger....|
On the work front the brick laying on Platform 2B continued. Although it threatened to rain a couple of times, 500 bricks were laid by the end of the day, which was a good number considering the distractions. As well as brick laying there was brick cleaning taking place and freshly cleaned reds were moved in and stacked behind the rising wall.
The infill behind platform 2 has reached the height for placing the the rear edging slabs. This is always a 3 Weetabix job. The particular slabs in question were a hand me down arranged by Peter Quick, and very useful they will be.

In addition several trips were made with the dumper to collect additional bricks for cleaning from the Mythe pile. This also included the gathering of some bridge coping stones, either to be used elsewhere on the railway or to sell on.
On the right Jo poses by the dumper full of coping stones, with a backdrop of the new running in board sign which looks great. Jo was instrumental in arranging for the posts to be manufactured. He can rightly feel well chuffed with the end result.
Thanks to everyone who came today. To the many Blog supporters make sure you get your share prospectus from Maxine at Toddington or collect one from Broadway. It really is a great document and the offer therein, second to none.
