Very good. Have you decided yet how long the platforms are going to be.

Is P1 finished yet, or is there more to be built? How many coaches are you planning to be able to accomodate?

The Board has specified that the platforms can accommodate 10 coach trains which requires them to be at least 210m long. Currently P1 is 190m and P2 will be extended shortly to match it. We will then decide how to proceed to meet the Boards objectives.

With regard to the boards request that the platforms accommodate 10 coaches at Broadway, so are the intermediate stations at Toddington & Winchcombe going to be extended to match?
The board has asked C&W to have four rakes of 7 coaches ready for when Broadway opens so why waste your time and effort doing this platform extension?

I wish I worked in C & W so that I could have a cynical view on everything as well!

I agree with Bert's comment above.
Why two platforms at ten coach length? According to the "Proposed Broadway Signal Plan" both platforms will be signaled both ways, therefore, on the very rare occasion that a ten coach train arrives it could use platform 1. Leave platform 2 at eight coaches+loco, save cost and effort.
