Its not often I turn the spotlight on individuals because everyone plays their part in their own way at the GWR. However Chris ( generally with his son David) come along each week to help out at whatever is required, no matter how mundane or laborious, and just thoroughly enjoy themselves. Thank you Chris and David, and to all the other Volunteers "Steaming to Broadway!"

Hi Chris, I'm trying to persuade the powers that be, that we could do with an item of rolling stock on a short length of track on site for PR purposes and a Volunteers morale booster! Thanks for your comments. Bill
what a good idea, how about something with a bunk and a stove for the ones who travel a long way!!!!! hint hint
