I'm the bearer of the disappointing news that the bracket post will not be finished in time for Friday. It wasn't for the want of trying I can assure you. George Forrest our ever helpful welding expert spent Friday and Saturday welding the four fins to the post and base plate.
I'm afraid time ran out. I can't blame anyone - every one did their best.
To all those generous benefactors, please be patient - it will be completed and erected after the Gala Weekend.
