Jo spent time today looking northward along the freshly cleared track bed at the Little Buckland Bridge(Bridge No.5) The remarkable thing is that you can now see the Broadway Good Shed in the distance which is just south of the Broadway Station Site and Bridge No. 1.
Somehow it all seems that bit easier to contemplate - yes, 5 Bridges to repair but with a last big push on the Bridges To Broadway Share Offer (currently at £370,000), and work due to commence soon at Little Bucklands, you can almost feel success in the air.

Will there be a separate blog for the work on the 5 bridges and the track to Broadway?

I think that john balderstone chap did an excellent job of the report for jj farms bridge. thinking the boardroom blog will be the place to look when the bridges get restored... little bucklands looks like a real major task...bet the leaning parapet walls gonna need underpinning and shifting back before the wing walls can be rebuilt...that will mean the whole deck needs to come out..proberbly for the best as it looks totally rotted out
Excellent telephoto shot showing Broadway goods shed in the distance. Will track be laid northwards over each bridge as soon as they are completed?
In principle yes but depends on funds available etc....
