A great day for the GWR with the first steam trains able to travel from Cheltenham Racecourse through to Laverton for such a long time. There was a great sense of excitement as Foremarke Hall arrived at Cheltenham, sporting the Cheltenham Spa Express headboard, and filled with smiling guests and volunteers. I was please to join my Broadway chums on the trip to Laverton and I'm sure I saw the wistful look on their faces, contemplating the day that our destination would be Broadway. What a great celebration that will be!
A thank you to Malcolm Temple, the Board Members and Volunteers that made today possible. All I can say is your hard work and sleepless nights were not in vain.

I feel a poetic line coming on.
"Now, God be thanked Who has matched us with His hour,
And caught our youth, and wakened us from sleeping,
With hand made sure, clear eye, and sharpened power,
To turn, as swimmers into cleanness leaping"
Really nice photo's Jo, cant wait to see Foremarke Hall at Broadway!
