Just tell us what you did, and we will earmark it for the fund. We already have one other, smaller donation from someone like you. It's just that a small group approached us to say that if you can guarantee the windows will be made of hardwood, we will sponsor 5 of them, that's how it started. If it wasn't for them, we might well have had PVC.Jo https://www.blogger.com/profile/05480195769830116100noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8246842529969806828.post-45374979051842472652015-02-02T19:07:12.200+00:002015-02-02T19:07:12.200+00:00http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&...http://www.google.co.uk/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=7&ved=0CEgQFjAG&url=http%3A%2F%2Forr.gov.uk%2F__data%2Fassets%2Fpdf_file%2F0015%2F2634%2Frsp005-minorrail.pdf&ei=ZcjPVI-AFInhaPL6geAM&usg=AFQjCNE65nbRCd1BsMpqEBoJSqnrJBP0fQ&sig2=yJ7rqmrIyM1q10gqm25ZBQ&bvm=bv.85076809,d.d2s

A link to The ORR structure clearance document. That way the target of £2250 is smaller, and people who, like me, can only make a smaller donation would have a realistic target.

Loving your work, by the way.

EricEric Ohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12713849651205556523noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8246842529969806828.post-75139210605512416212015-02-02T14:18:23.333+00:002015-02-02T14:18:23.333+00:00To Barry,

I can guess more or less what they are, but is it possible to provide some details of what the ones which will be added to the Broadway footbridge will be? The guidance we have received from the ORR ...Steve

The guidance we have received from the ORR is that we should comply with Railway Safety Publication 5. This document sets the standards required for new and altered railway works. Unfortunately our footbridge, although removed from it's original site is classed as a new build once it is erected on a new site. The drawings we have obtained of the original footbridge clearly show that it didn't meet the structure gauge as originally built, which is probably why the smoke shields were removed at Henley in Arden.

Hope this explanation makes sense.Jim H.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8246842529969806828.post-51521290889086386282015-02-01T15:15:56.568+00:002015-02-01T15:15:56.568+00:00Yewsterday, half a cup marked 'BTC' (Briti...Yewsterday, half a cup marked 'BTC' (British Transport Commission) and of course on the Broadway station site itself, a finial, two crush barrier posts (we are looking for two more), a modesty screen post, and the remains of the platform 2 lower footbridge supports.
