Seeing the two recent photos of the end of Platform 1B(finish in 2011) and the recent completion of Platform 2 (the next section will be called 2B) it struck me as to the extra refinement and quality of finish of the Platform 2 wall. Both would take a Sherman tank to move them, but the confidence of the Bricklaying Gang has grown such that they are able to take an extra pride in the way things are finished off as well as keeping the wall vertical and to the right height. A brilliant job!

Any reason why 1A does not finish in the normal slope? I understand it is already the longest platform on the line.

Cheltenham is longer so we're not quite there yet John!
